Elegant fortress of the 14th century flanked of towers and surrounded by moats, the Castle of Colombières is a jewel of the architectural heritage of Low Normandy.
To discover this exceptionnal historical momument, nothing is better than a visit with a guide which will revive to you a thousand years of History, from William the Conqueror to the June 6, 1944.
While admiring the splendid park of the castle, you will go along its ancestral moats then you will get in the interior court to visit the principal parts of the fortress: chapel, room of the guards, medieval kitchen, large dining room...
A particular welcome is made to the young public, in family or group, with the handing-over of the booklet "discovery tour". Requesting the curiosity and the direction of the observation of the children, it makes it possible to cause their amazement in front of the attractive beauty of a monument carrying the memory of History.
