Listed historical monument, the castl of Crazannes or"Puss in Boots Castle" belongs to the Rochefort family. Nestled in the heart of it 8 ha park, it offers calm and charm of its privilegefd environment. In this exhuberant floral setting, the hosting of Saint Jacques de Compostelle pilgrims and numerous medieval legends are evoked. In the park, the donjon dominates the moats, the XIth century Romanesque chapel reminds us of the presence of an earlier castle and the dovecote aludes to the Lord privileges in the Middle Ages. Visits on week-ends and holydays from 03/26 to 09/24 2005. Everyday in July and August. Reservation is better. |
