The abbey, built on the banks of the River Loire in the 12th century, has acquired various architectural jewels through the centuries notably its façade and staircase. The former monks' cells have become fine rooms and apartments, decorated so as to blend in with the spirit of the building and adorned with period furniture. They look onto the majestic river and its banks. This is a superb site that can also be enjoyed from the garden, the large terrace or vegetable garden. Enjoy regional cuisine and wine in front of the fireplace in winter and on the veranda in summer, looking onto the legendary Beaugency bridge. Leisure activities: cooking lessons and walking along the River Loire.
